The Future of Robotics

Ralph Etienne-Cummings give his his opinion on what the current challenges of robotics are and what the future looks like. As a "neuromorphic engineer" his interest is in looking at biological entities solve problems currently faced in engineering, and Ralph applies those concepts to robotics and electronics. Eventually he hopes to build chips that mimic mammallian spinal cord to fill in gaps in damaged nervous tissue.
