Dyslexia: It's a Good Thing

Typically dyslexia is considered a disease in need of a cure. But this Globe and Mail article, titled "The Gift of Dyslexia", is a rather upbeat story about a 16 year old boy who's struggled against dyslexia and is growing to see his condition as an advantage. While it took him until the age of 12 to read, he excels at abstract thinking and visualization.

"It has lots of advantages," he said from Edmonton earlier this week. "I can visualize things better. Building things is easier. I'm hoping to become a millionaire."
