AI prize award for British firm

[article] The company Icogno has again won a Loebner Prize: the Bronze Medal for 2006, this time with an AI called Joan. Based on the Turing test, the competition relies on conversation to determine which contestant is the most human-like computer program. Remaining unclaimed is the gold medal, which will go to an AI that succeeds in fooling the judges.
